Game Recap

The Lady Raiders played a solid match tonight against the Lady Trojans, bringing their district record to 6-3, 19-12 overall.

Coach Flowers knew that the match-up with Soddy Daisy would be a win they would have to earn. She was proud of the girls for a solid performance and for having fun while doing it.

“It has been a great year,” says Coach Flowers about the season up to this point. “We have had to overcome some minor adversity, but all-and-all, the girls love each other and have played some good volleyball.”

Standout players:
Senior outside hitter Allison Botts put down 16 kills, only 1 hitting error, and 12 digs.

Senior setter Kellee Geren had 4 aces, 18 service points, 9 digs, 4 kills, and 25 assists.

Junior libero Lauren Lee had an ace, 10 service points, 18 receptions, 13 digs, and 2 assists.

Junior Sammie Kate Eason had 11 service points, 4 digs, and 2 kills.

Junior middle/rightside hitter, Morgan Moffet had 5 digs and 3 kills.

Freshmen Anna Renshaw had 11 service points, 11 receptions, 2 digs, 7 kills.

The Lady Raiders will travel to Mcminn County High School on Thursday.
